Matt that is called a gladhand. It’s used for when the truck needs to be towed. It’ll unlock the brakes using the air pressure from the truck that’s towing the big Bertha
Beautiful job! Truck is awesome, one suggestion might be is to mount/weld some sort of brush/debris shield/deflector around any vital supply tubes(air/hydrualic) lines under the truck so the same thing you did while playing around the "ranch" does not happen again. Other than that HAVE FUN AND BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!.....Dave from Fl.
I have ran almost every brand of skid steer that there is and have to say that bobcat has the best viewing area when operating the angle of the arms and the cross bar that the bucket attaches to.
Not a hater but sad to see hondas getting the hate, because my favorite cars are trucks or hondas lmao gotta love both. i dream to have a bigass rig like yours and tow 5 race civics at once with all my buddies so we can all play at the track. maybe one day.
The only times imperial should ever be used are high above ground and speed in an aircraft, distance and speed at sea. The only other time I use it is a rough estimate of length because feet are easier to visualize than meters. The one I can never understand why you guys do it is using pounds instead of tons. Is it because 40,000 pounds sounds more impressive than 20 tons?
For Info..... The Zinc "anode bag" is there to sacrifice itself and corrode instead of the tank body..... They need to be replaced on a scheduled basis to protect the tank long-term..... All Steel hulled ships has massive sets of the bolted to the Hull for the same purpose..
So on the topic of the anode bag, much like an anode rod inside of a water heater, a super simple way to think about it is it's like the kinda like the silica gel pack in your gun box or bag of beef jerky. It's there to attract oxygen (and therefore oxidation) away from something by absorbing it. Whatever alloy is inside of that bag is supposed to soak up as much of the local oxygen by oxidizing faster, and that is supposed to prevent in this case the tank from rusting for longer. There's a lot more to it, but that's the best comparison I could think of lol
Maybe a huge screen like for the windshield but underneath the entire chasis like belly armor...somthin so you don't get taken out of commission by shrubbery
So that anode bag electrically attracts rust to it, so it rusts and the tank doesn't. Think of it like a magnet for rust. It's the exact same thing as the anodes on the bottom of boats that keep the hulls from rusting out.
New Holland skid loaders arent half bad, idk if youse have em over the pond but they are fairly popular in the uk, my neighbour has had 2 and they’ve both been great machines
Skid steers: Follow Camarata's lead and get an IHI. Solid, well built and not as much of a nightmare to work on as a Bobcat. The Japanese do not mess around when it comes to industrial equipment.
well you jus sold me I needed a new gen I have another one its kinda on its last leg its like 20 years maybe more old its a generac generator it served me well but ho ho cummins baby oh ya honestly the one I have is fine but you know cummins
Hey Matt the track looks amazingHey Matt the track looks amazing The piece on you need your hood is called a glad hand is the hookah airline up to And don't worry The way air brakes work is if there's no air it doesn't go anywhere just locked up the brakes
